Shipping Policy

How orders are picked up, shipped and delivered through Dropzo.

1. Courier Partners

Dropzo is integrated with India's leading courier partners including Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, Ekart, XpressBees, Shadowfax, Ecom Express, and India Post. The best-suited courier is auto-allocated based on serviceability, performance, and pincode.

2. Pickup

Orders booked before 2:00 PM IST on a working day are usually picked up the same day. Orders booked later are picked up the next working day. Pickup is subject to courier availability in your pincode.

3. Delivery Timelines (Estimated)

  • Metro to Metro: 2–4 working days
  • Metro to Tier 2/3: 3–6 working days
  • Rest of India: 5–9 working days
  • North-East / J&K / Andaman: 7–12 working days

These are courier-provided estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates.

4. Serviceability

Dropzo services 27,000+ pincodes across India. You can check serviceability for any pincode from the dashboard before booking. COD availability varies by courier and pincode.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on origin pincode, destination pincode, weight (or volumetric weight, whichever is higher), service type (Surface / Express), and COD value. Charges are auto-debited from the seller's Dropzo wallet at the time of label generation.

6. COD (Cash on Delivery)

COD orders attract an additional COD fee (flat fee or % of order value, whichever is higher) as per the rate card. COD amounts are collected by the courier and remitted to your bank account on a weekly cycle.

7. NDR (Non-Delivery Reports)

If a delivery attempt fails (customer unavailable, address incorrect, refused, etc.), the shipment goes into NDR. You will receive a notification on the dashboard and can take action (re-attempt, update address, or RTO) within 72 hours. After 72 hours, the courier will auto-RTO the shipment.

8. RTO (Return to Origin)

RTO charges as per the published rate card are debited from the wallet. The shipment is returned to the vendor / pickup warehouse address. The forward shipping charge is not refunded for RTO shipments.

9. Tracking

Every shipment gets a unique AWB number that can be tracked from your dashboard or via the public tracking page dropzo.co. Tracking updates are pulled from the courier in near real-time.

10. Restricted Items

We do not ship: weapons, explosives, perishable food, live animals, currency, narcotics, adult products, or any item prohibited by Indian law or by the courier partner.
